When Stephen first arrived at Wildflour, he worked making “Just Rewards for Dogs” biscuits. He also worked in the
kitchen and received basic cooking training.
Stephen currently works at Wildflour Café, located in the Long and Foster building in Chantilly. There, he focuses on making sure everything is ready for our customers. He sweeps the floor, cleans tables, does dishes, and restocks drinks and chips. Out of all his tasks, his favorite is doing the dishes.
He says working at Wildflour has made him more punctual because he does not like being late to work. He enjoys working there and interacting with the customers.
Stephen has been chosen to be part of the second generation of our Chef Training Program. Along with 5 coworkers, he will work his way to become a chef. He will learn how to cook different types of food and about food safety and management. He is looking forward the most to learning how to make various types of soups.
Stephen is excited about his chef training and hopes to one day work at a restaurant. He plans to continue learning new skills and working hard.
