February Recipe of the Month

Spicy Pork Meatballs 

Servings: 6   
Prep: 25 minutes 
Cook: 25 minutes

-1.5 lbs minced pork
-1 grated onion
-2 oz ground almonds
-2 0z fresh breadcrumbs
-14 g butter
-1 beaten egg
-4 tbs oil
-2 tbs medium sherry
-1 tsp parsley
-1 tsp ground cinnamon
-Salt to taste

-Mix the pork, onion, almonds, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, cinnamon, salt and sherry. Combine well then shape into about 40 walnut-sized balls.
-Melt the butter with half of the oil in a frying pan. Add the meatballs, in batches, and fry gently until brown.
-Remove from pan and drain in paper towels.

Serve them with spaghetti for a delicious main dish!
